Welcome to the Pupukea Cottage! Escape to a serene mountain retreat in this newly renovated, private two-bedroom cottage on 6 lush acres. Enjoy your morning coffee or meals on the lanai, overlooking bamboo groves and tropical fruit trees. Just 5 minutes from the beach, surf breaks, Foodland, and local food trucks and only 20 minutes to charming Haleiwa town. Local laws require a minimum 30-day booking, but you are not required to stay all 30 days. Please message us with any questions.
The space
Sleeps 4 guests: Two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. This off-grid cottage runs entirely on solar power, offering a remote feel while still being close to everything you need. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Enjoy the large outdoor shower and relax on the lanai, which features a dining table and free laundry. Thanks to the higher elevation, you’ll enjoy cooler temperatures and refreshing mountain breezes no need for AC and there are ceiling fans in both bedrooms.
Prime location! Walk to the Kaunala Trail or take a short drive to nearby attractions like Sharks Cove, Waimea Valley, and Banzai Pipeline. Just minutes from Foodland, Haleiwa, and Turtle Bay. Perfect for couples, families, or groups seeking a surf-filled escape.

Other things to note
The Cottage is situated on a shared 6 acres with our family home and is tucked away in it's own corner offering plenty of privacy. Expect to encounter geckos, wild chickens, morning rooster calls, and children playing. Rent a car, moped, or E-bike for the best experience.
No parties, smoking, vaping indoors or outdoors. Quiet hours: 8pm-8am. Please review our check-in and check-out times and plan accordingly. Check-in: 3PM and Check-out: 11AM.
